Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze source data, technical metadata, profile source data and create data mapping and transformation rules based on business requirements.
• Experience in creating parallel jobs using various Development/debug stages such as Lookup, Join, Merge, Transformer, Aggregator, Funnel, DB2, Snowflake, XML, FTP Cluster stage, copy, funnel, and others.
• Experience in developing sequence jobs to call parallel jobs setting up notification activities to send mail on successful completion.
• Create Python scripts and Unix batch scripts for file handling and batch processing using job scheduler Autosys.
• Familiar with GIT bash commands for code pull, status check.
• Perform unit testing at various levels and actively involve in team code reviews.
• Provide data flow and processing information through presentations, technical reports, white papers, manuals, flowcharts, operating instructions and guides.
• Perform design and code reviews, ensure quality data product is delivered.
• Create test plans, test programs & scripts for data validation testing.
• Perform unit testing, verify security, and performance issues.
• Resolve technical issues, maintain source code.
• Prepare technical documents, data models, schema, and mapping documentation.
• Prepare deployment and maintenance user guides.

Technical Skills : Experience in IBM DataStage 11.7, IBM Cognos , VB, Python, SQL, SnowSQL, Data Modeling, RDBMS, PL/ SQL, Oracle, DB2, Snowflake, XML, UNIX scripting, GIT hub, Selenium, Linux, Jenkins

Requirements:

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Must possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science/ Computer Engineering/Software Engineering/Computer Applications/ Information Technology/ Information Systems/ Electrical or Electronics/ Mathematics or related field or equivalent degree
• Travel may be required.

Salary: $74,000/year
