```Overview:```
EGR is a world-class manufacturer of decorative building panel and laminate products for commerical and residential applications. We are seeking an individual who will be handling the process, operation design, and continuous improvement of the Decor Samples Department.
```Responsibilities:```
-Identify production process improvements and implement improvement plans such that process inefficiencies are minimized.
- Assessing processes, taking measurements, and interpreting data for process improvement.
- Designing, running, testing, and upgrading systems regarding new processes and layouts of facilities.
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.
- Continually search for new and/or better technology and tools to apply to existing processes.
- Develop process documentation, operating instructions, and work instructions.
- Carry out tasks and special projects as directed by the Manufacturing Manager.
- Ensure completion of relevant of relevant production paperwork.
- Establish KPI's for review.
- Responsible for stock control.
- Daily reporting to Manufacturing Manager.
- Hold daily production meeting with relevant department.
- Liaise with Maintenance Department regarding change over and repairs.
- Recommend and evaluate new machinery and external sourcing.
```Experience:```
- Minimum 3 years experience in process improvement.
- Extensive computer literacy.
- Project management and communication skills which include gap analysis, planning and priority setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
