Eglin Federal Credit Union is Hiring a F/T Financial Education Specialist Near Fort Walton Beach, FL
- Responsible for the design, development, implementation, measurement, and maintenance of EFCUs Financial Education program and the financial literacy content and resources for a variety of mediums (i.e. classroom, web-based, seminars, and simulated learning workshops).
- Develop financial education strategies to effectively engage a wide range of targeted audiences. Proactively conduct outreach and develop working relationships with area organizations, schools, employers, local military installations, and city leaders to strengthen relationships and meet the unique needs of our community.
- Coordinate and facilitate customized and interactive financial education workshops and follow up with feedback to measure effectiveness.
- Research and identify the financial needs of our target market and recommend new products and services based on perceived target market needs and wants.
- Work with VP of Membership and Community Development to compare financial education vendors across all mediums of instruction to meet the needs of our membership.
- Develop and deliver Credit Union presentations to a variety of public groups/agencies that serve our market to increase awareness of the Credit Union, our products, and services.
- Collaborate with local Military and Family Readiness Centers to expand and coordinate approved financial literacy briefings and presentations to key groups such as FTEC, PFMP, and Heart Link.
- Participate in the implementation of financial education program for Credit Union staff development, working with specific Credit Union staff as appropriate.
- Implement and oversee processes and procedures for the achievement of specific program/project goals.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Must know how to use a personal computer and be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and InDesign.
Must be knowledgeable of EFCU policies, products, and services.
