Position Overview
A bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a fun and inviting
atmosphere for guests. They must be knowledgeable about the menu and be able to make drinks
quickly and accurately. Bartenders must also be able to handle large crowds and be able to
multitask in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be outgoing, positive, and make
guests feel welcome. In this position, the Server is responsible for taking food and beverage orders
accurately, delivering them in a timely manner, and making sure the needs of the guests are met.
Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
In a timely manner, provide a warm welcome to Guests upon arrival and engage in
conversation.

Provide a unique, personalized experience to Guests through personal connections and
genuine interactions with the ability to remain professional
Inform Guests of specials and / or promotions, answer questions pertaining to the food and
beverage menus, and be prepared to make suggestions when asked
Correctly enter orders into Point of Sale system for transmittal to kitchen staff and in proper
sequence and appropriate charges
Check Guest identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for
consumption of alcoholic beverages
Check with Guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take corrective action to
ensure Guest satisfaction
process Guest payments by handling money, making necessary changes, and processing
credit card transactions
Skills and Abilities Required
