Eggspectation - MD is Hiring a Bartender Near Timonium, MD

We are looking for team members who want to be a part of a growing hospitality

group! Made up of 4 award winning brands (Buffalo Wild Wings, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Limestone BBQ and Bourbon, and Eggspectation) we offer many

Position Overview

A bartender is responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a fun and inviting

atmosphere for guests. They must be knowledgeable about the menu and be able to make drinks

quickly and accurately. Bartenders must also be able to handle large crowds and be able to

multitask in a fast-paced environment. This individual should be outgoing, positive, and make

guests feel welcome. In this position, the Server is responsible for taking food and beverage orders

accurately, delivering them in a timely manner, and making sure the needs of the guests are met.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

In a timely manner, provide a warm welcome to Guests upon arrival and engage in

conversation.

  • Prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes
  • Be knowledgeable about food and beverage options and present them in an informational,

friendly, and enthusiastic manner

Provide a unique, personalized experience to Guests through personal connections and

genuine interactions with the ability to remain professional

Inform Guests of specials and / or promotions, answer questions pertaining to the food and

beverage menus, and be prepared to make suggestions when asked

Correctly enter orders into Point of Sale system for transmittal to kitchen staff and in proper

sequence and appropriate charges

Check Guest identification to ensure they meet minimum age requirements for

consumption of alcoholic beverages

Check with Guests to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take corrective action to

ensure Guest satisfaction

  • Practice safe food and bag handling and cleanliness at all times
  • Follow steps of service and other company standards
  • Address Guest concerns and inform Managers as needed
  • Encourage contactless payment in brands where it is available or collect and accurately

process Guest payments by handling money, making necessary changes, and processing

credit card transactions

  • Perform shift change and / or opening or closing duties
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Skills and Abilities Required

  • Superior customer service and hospitality skills
  • Knowledgeable of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures
  • The confidence and ability to connect with Guests
  • Skill in time management and organization with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction and execute team and company objectives
  • Basic knowledge of Point of Sale systems
  • Conflict management skills, analytical skills, and a high degree of emotional intelligence in

order to recognize and solve

Ability to follow specific service time and guidelines while engaging Guests and customizing

their experience

  • Ability to maintain a high degree of pace and intensity for an extended period of time
  • Must be reliable and dependable by adhering to a schedule, covering shifts as necessary,

and being on time for scheduled shifts

Ability to make sure the Guest leaves satisfied and impressed with the food and service.

Education and Experience Required

  • Minimum 21 years of age in Delaware or 18 years of age in Maryland.
  • 1-2 experience preferred, but will train
  • ABC Certification
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a POS system.
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20-25 lbs.
  • Ability to access online scheduling app.
  • Knowledge of RAS (responsible alcohol service) procedures as defined by both federal and

state laws
