We seek to hire a Design/Build Specialist who will strengthen our company culture and represent the company 

well while engaging with clients and team members during the Custom Home & Remodel (CH&R) design and build 

process.

The candidate’s responsibilities include but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Professionally respond to prospective clients about their desired project
• Create designs and specs within the Design and Evaluation Services Agreement (D&E) 
• Collaborate with CH&R team members and clients 
• Convert D&E clients into Construction Agreements assuring contract, specs, and plans’ accuracy
• Participate in progress quality meetings with the client and Site Manager during construction
• Work through compromises of the desired design, relationship with the client and budget
• Manage sales/production goals, remodeling jobs sold, managed, and gross margin outcome

Requirements

Requirements for this position include:

• Excellent interpersonal abilities, written and verbal communication skills
• 5 plus years experience in new home or remodeling design, project management, and/or sales 
• Creativity and command of design principles: structure, function, aesthetic, components, etc.
• Mastery of measuring, interpreting existing conditions, and visualizing a custom home or remodel
• Advanced understanding of the IRC as applied to the remodeling environment
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, and/or Chief Architect preferred
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
