Our client, who is a leader in their industry, is adding a General Manager to their growing team! As General Manager, you will oversee all facets of hotel operations, including the Rooms, Food & Beverage, Administrative, Sales, Marketing, and Maintenance divisions. Our successful candidate will embody a culture of excellence, prioritizing guest satisfaction and associate performance, and driving a team to meet these standards. Revenue growth and profit optimization will be key responsibilities, partnering with corporate sales and revenue management leaders to maximize revenue while managing expenses.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively respond to guest queries, guaranteeing services are easily accessible and user-
friendly.
- Administer and optimize budgeted revenue in cooperation with the sales and revenue
management teams.
- Control expenses by managing purchases effectively.
- Recruit, mentor, and inspire a competent hotel team dedicated to satisfying guest needs.
- Foster an inclusive and diverse environment for all guests and team members.
- Ensure effective communication with all hotel departments.
- Uphold a professional attitude that aligns with the hotel's brand image and company's
expectations.
- Be familiar with and able to communicate emergency processes, providing assistance to guests
and operations during emergency situations.
Qualifications:
- At least 2-5 years of hotel management experience, preferably with the same brand.
- Sales and revenue management involvement preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong communication and administrative skills.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk frequently throughout the workday, and maneuver up to
30 pounds occasionally.
