Position Summary
We are looking for a communications professional with strong writing and editing skills, and the capability to manage multiple projects. This team member will be responsible for creating engaging internal communications content to support various business needs, as well as content for our internal communication platforms. They will work as part of a collaborative team to help keep team members well informed, inspire and promote a connected culture, and strengthen the EG America brand internally.
Responsibilities:
1. Write, edit and review content for the company intranet and our communications platform by partnering with other departments, to ensure content is accurate, appropriate and timely.
2. Review analytics, publish news stories, and work with the IC team to create engaging visuals for both platforms
3. Work on creative content projects, from concept through completion, as outlined by the Director of Communications and internal business partners.
4. Write, edit, and review content for internal announcements, emails, newsletters, presentations, talking points, and video scripts, as needed.
5. Provide support for the day-to-day communication needs of various departments, including Retail Operations, HR, IT, Marketing, Facilities, etc.
6. Ensure brand and messaging quality and consistency through established guidelines.
7. Work to maintain the growth and increase traffic to our communication platforms.
8. Assist in maintaining an internal communications calendar, based on priority and timeliness.
9. Assist the Internal Communications Manager in staying on top of communication best practices and continuously look for ways to improve the user experience on both communication platforms.
Working Relationships:
Store team members, Store Manager, District Manager, and various Corporate team members.
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism or related field
Preferred Education:
Minimum Experience: 1 year experience in Communications field
Preferred Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in Communications field

Skills Requirement:
Travel: 10% within EG America brand footprint (Coast to Coast US)
Hours & Conditions: 40 regular hours/ 8 hour work day, Monday – Friday, however, may at times be required to work outside of normal business hours due to business needs.
Other: Should have a clean driving record – will need to be approved to drive Company vehicle for field work.
Physical Requirement: Ability to stand/walk/ sit as needed during work day; ability to lift 30 lbs. – as needed, reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip
