Who You Are

You are a motivated exceptional financial services professional who is passionate about supporting key initiatives in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Do

  • Actively participates in the On-Boarding of new clients by opening and processing all types of accounts, products and/or services
  • Effectively handling and evaluating risk when reviewing client account money movement requests including but not limited to check requests, check deposits, and domestic and international currency wires.
  • Works closely with our Custodians to effect payments and responds to complex wire inquiries, wire investigation case, incoming wires, wires pending Risk and OFAC review, and wire cancellations. 
  • Responding to questions on a wide array of technical and operational subjects.
  • Actively listening, assessing client needs, researching information, and providing clients with innovative solutions.
  • Problem solving and conducting research/special requests through the use of email, telephone, and our internal inquiry system.
  • Working collaboratively and efficiently with others in a fast-paced environment
  • Accountable for the entire review process and following established policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. 
  • Account maintenance and record keeping on all relevant platforms for each custodian
  • Support other Operations functions by setting up and providing online access to clients’ accounts, ordering credit cards and checks for private banking clients.
  • Responsible for the onboarding, account communication, distribution, and payment process for American Express which includes Travel Notifications, Fraud verification and troubleshooting card inquiries 
  • Participates and supports overall customer service goals and is required to communicate with other departments or managers to resolve customer issues. 
  • Money Market fund purchases and redemptions 
  • Customer refund requests 
  • Printing and Mailing of Term sheets, Prospectus, and broker statements 
  • Other duties and projects as assigned or requested by supervisor.
  • Monitor client items for attention on brokerage platform
  • Perform EFG Asset Management tasks for onboarding & maintenance

What You’ll Need

  • FINRA Series 99 preferred
  • Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum five years of previous work experience in an Operation function
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Detail Oriented and ability to multitask to meet deadlines.
