Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations in various healthcare settings
• Record patient vitals and medical history accurately
• Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures on the go
• Perform specimen collection and basic laboratory tests as needed
• Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
• Assist with medical procedures and minor surgeries during travel assignments
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms in different facilities
• Ensure patient comfort and safety at all times during travel assignments
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating medical records on the move
• Provide excellent customer service and support to patients and healthcare teams during travel assignments

Requirements:

• MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification Preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in multiple healthcare settings preferred
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different healthcare environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently while traveling
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
