EFC International is looking for an Electric Vehicle Market Leader, North America to join the team

at our Bloomfield Hills, MI location.

The Electric Vehicle Market Leader, North America is responsible for developing a comprehensive go to market plan resulting in increased incremental business revenue on BEV, PHEV and other electrified platforms. This will be achieved through direct customer management as well as through the assistance and coordination with assigned Outside Sales Engineers across North America. This individual will develop and lead the electrification sales strategy targeted at product diversification strategies, proactive territory prospection, new customer acquisition planning and development of customer relationships. Excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively are essential skills. Experience dealing directly with EV OEMS as well as industry startups within battery management systems and interior/exterior applications is strongly preferred.

EFC International currently operates on a Hybrid schedule with the majority of work being performed remotely.

50 - 60% travel is required.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets within the US market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry leads, and actively manage the sales pipeline while extending proposals to customers.
  • Identify potential strategic new mobility OEM partners, evaluate partnership opportunities, and negotiate partnership agreements to expand EFC's market presence in the US, MX & Canada.
  • Collaborate with supplier partners to drive joint sales and marketing initiatives. Manage direct daily business interactions with select new mobility OEM's.
  • Remain current on industry electrification trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market opportunities, customer preferences, and emerging technologies, providing insights to drive product development and sales strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including NBD, marketing, OSE and customer service, to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
  • Share market insights and customer feedback to help shape product roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
  • Support NA Project Launch and Coordination: Under the direction of NA Sales VP, drive and coordinate EV projects as well as customer support to improve customers' experience.
  • Coordinate and manage BOM activity for key electrification customers.
  • Follows EFC policies, guidelines, processes, work instructions and procedures.
  • Possesses and follows behavioral competencies and necessary skills to achieve overall company desired results and expectations.
  • Helps create and foster a collaborative and team-based environment and culture across all functional departments within EFC. Identify and works with manager to address any issues that are creating barriers to an optimal work environment for all staff.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar technical degree from four-year college or university required; or one to two years related managerial experience and/or degree in management/business or similar field preferred. The ideal candidate will have prior fastener experience across plastic injection, metal stamping and cold heading. Candidate should have 7 years of experience in fastening and joining technologies as well as prior direct work experience in automotive electrification systems.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products word processing software, SAP and Contact Management systems. EFC can and will provide training in SAP and CRM as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly responsible for employees in assigned territory. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
