As a Senior Trade Oversight Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting complex systematic investing functions, including making decisions that have a high level of risk, legal, regulatory, and/or financial implications. You will be required to understand industry rules and regulations and the impact they have on Mutual Fund Trading processes, systems, and controls; along with identifying inherent and potential risks and making recommendations for mitigation. While this position is an individual contributor role, you'll be working in partnership with a variety of stakeholders and various representatives from other divisions within the organization.
  • Support timely and accurate processing within Excel and Power BI of various Systematic Investing processes within the Mutual Fund Trades including SWPS, Dollar Cost Averaging, with an understanding of both how and why the work is performed.
  • Identifying risk; creating and maintaining risk and control functions.
  • Provide detailed analysis of information along with alternative solutions and present recommendations to business area leaders for process or system improvements. Implementation of the agreed upon solutions would also be required.
  • Make decisions on complex and/or high impact issues, often in relatively short periods of time, with little to no leader involvement.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert to resolve issues, handle escalations, and carry out responsibilities.
  • Training and coaching associates within or across teams as needed.
  • Supporting new technology or system upgrades by executing system tests and providing support for system implementations.
  • Reconciliation of internal firm account balances.
Position Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in finance or business preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry or related field.
  • Must be available to work 6:30am - 3:00pm CST
  • Knowledge of complex systems and system interdependencies within Operations.
  • Must have time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle a moderate to heavy workload to be able to fulfill all the roles within the area.

  • Proficiency in PEGA, POWER BI, Sales Force
  • Strong analytical skills with intermediate skills in creating complex spreadsheets, formulas, macros, and queries.
  • Problem solving skills required to research non-routine issues and recognize complex situations involving client accounts and/or firm systems.
  • Take initiative; motivated self-starter and detail oriented; able to meet deadlines while working independently and/or remotely.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory environment and ability to apply knowledge to reach appropriate conclusions in best interest of clients and firm.
  • Understand the upstream/downstream impacts to other departments and divisions within the firm.
