Client and Practice Transition exists to optimize the experience for clients before, during, and after a financial advisor transition to ensure a long-term relationship with our organization. The department leads the strategy to ensure all transitions are client centric while reducing the number of times a client transitions.
What you'll do…• Developing relationships with branch teams, providing timely communication, coaching and guidance as situations arise to ensure the successful execution of client transition plans.
• Educating and coaching Financial Advisors on impacts to compensation resulting from receiving relationships through a client transition plan.
• Partnering & collaborating with other home office departments to ensure client transition plans are executed in an efficient manner.
• Understanding and analyzing issues from multiple points of view (Veteran FA, Recipient FA, BOA, BTMO Strategist, Regional Leader) to determine the best possible outcomes for clients, branch teams and the firm. Ability to lead and influence others during challenging situations.
• Using sound judgement to know when to seek assistance from more senior associates, leader or Partner as potential issues become more complex.
• Utilizing conflict resolution and collaborative skills to address challenging situations while identifying positive outcomes that maintain the integrity of CT plans.
• Gathering feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance the branch team and client experience
• Communicating and processing timely information to ensure seamless branch transitions.
• Monitoring and proactively empowering branches with tools and resources that foster success in the branch.
• Work with branch teams impacted by a client transition plan recipient financial advisor terminating from the firm
What you'll need…• Bachelor's degree in business preferred
• 3 years of Jones experience or experience at another firm in Product and Sales, Sales Training and Development, or other departments providing support to sales force.
• Knowledge of Edward Jones financial advisor compensation preferred
• Excellent communication and presentations skills, including ability to provide positive motivation and encouragement to branch teams.
• Strong organizational skills including the ability to support multiple branches in transition.
• Must be proficient with a wide variety of topics, and having the ability to quickly change direction in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to influence using sound judgement, problem solving, critical thinking and empathy
• Conflict resolution skills
• Collaborative and knowledgeable of multiple departments that support the processes through client transitions
• Ability to build relationships and confidently discuss situations and recommendations with firm leadership, including Regional Leaders, General Partners and veteran financial advisors
***Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.***
