Description

The Heavy Equipment Lubrication System Installer’s primary duties will be to install, repair and maintain lubrication systems on heavy equipment including heavy trucks and construction equipment. Additional duties may include the repair, maintenance and installation of tank lubrication equipment along with general maintenance of trucks and trailers.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform all job duties and responsibilities in a manner that will keep our employees and the community safe. 
• Perform tasks that are assigned for both E.H. Wolf & Sons, Inc. & MA Wolf Trucking, Inc.
• Always perform work with your own safety and the safety of others as a priority.
• Work is to be performed in conjunction with EH Wolf/MA Wolf Sales, Transport, Route, and Motor Oil departments
• Create and maintain excellent relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Attend company sponsored safety and training meetings and classes.
• Perform work properly and efficiently. 
• Perform tests on specific parts and systems to ensure proper function.
• Identify mechanical problems either visually or with computer diagnostic equipment.
• Examine critical parts and systems using a standard checklist.
• Repair or replace malfunctioning parts and systems.
• Plan and establish a timetable to complete installations, repairs and maintenance.
• Visit job sites to inspect equipment.
• Routinely handle repairs and service calls.
• Lead or assist in the clean up of product spills that may occur at either company owned locations or at customer locations. Keep management informed on status of clean up and document appropriately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Strong mechanical aptitude a must.
• Knowledge of lubrication system installations and or equipment a plus.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment a plus.
• Excellent mechanical skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read service and repair manuals.
• Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
• Class A CDL is preferred or willingness to obtain with company assistance.
• Must be able to occasionally travel overnight 

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational/technical school program or apprenticeship in welding or related field a plus.
• Two years of related experience preferred.
• Commercial driver’s license may be required.
• Must be able to travel overnight occasionally.
• Must provide own hand tools.

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
• Must be able to lift 100 pounds at times.
