Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist with various procedures and ensure excellent patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Take and record patients' vital signs
- Assist the dentist during procedures as needed
- Take dental X-rays and process X-ray film
- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements:
- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
- Proficiency in taking vital signs and dental X-rays
- Knowledge of medical terminology, documentation, and records management
- Familiarity with Epic or similar dental software systems
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
