The Head of Platforms & Integration Management oversees ETS shared platforms across all products, features, as well as the market roadmap that drives increased margins for products and contracts within the ETS Assessments Services (EAS) business unit. This role works in lockstep with other functional centers of excellence in the product landscape. The incumbent will be the client facing escalation point and is accountable for effective implementation of products and services to clients. The Platforms & Integration Management reports to the VP of Product and Platforms Engineering and is accountable to both Technology and EAS divisional business leadership.

This role will have four primary responsibilities:

  • "Product Management" of the platforms that deliver our products and the roadmap for delivery of these services directly to Customers through the ETS Assessment Services business unit.
  • Integration of Enterprise, Products, and Commercial systems to drive high re-use of APIs but also proliferation of Data for both reporting and monetization.
  • Enterprise Architecture of the whole ETS landscape to ensure shared capabilities are leveraged across the Enterprise and Product roadmaps.
  • M&A Technology due diligence at scale

Day to day Responsibilities:

  • Lead the specification, development, launch, and evolution of shared platforms use across the ETS Customer landscape collecting input from external stakeholders and internal teams (Technology, Research, PID, Marketing, Sales) to build and prioritize capabilities, services, features and investments aligned to the Company's long-term vision.
  • Create product investment business cases and advocate for resources.
  • In collaboration with product managers, develop and execute strategic product roadmaps through the entire creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration.
  • Deliver platforms that support the development of high-quality, scalable, and maintainable services.
  • Prioritize and sequence features and enhancements based on strategic objectives, technical feasibility, and customer impact.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to establish product positioning and feature differentiation.
  • Perform quantitative analysis on features’ performance and find opportunities for optimization.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance platform efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative research to discover feature ideas and validate them before development.
  • Communicate information about complex concepts and projects in a digestible and persuasive manner based on your audience, sell innovative ideas, and prioritize across product portfolios.
  • Be responsible for hitting the key performance indicators you are entrusted with, including how the platform costs fit within product P&Ls
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product architecture decisions.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of integration platforms and middleware technologies that facilitate seamless data flow and connectivity between systems.
  • Design integration solutions that support both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring security, compliance, scalability, and performance
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain integration solutions, monitoring their effectiveness and optimizing as needed.
  • Serve as the primary early-stage technology analysis lead for Merger, Acquisition, and Divestiture activity at ETS.
    • Deliver assessments of acquisition fit for technology, staff, and services.
    • Develop integration and investment roadmaps for various acquisition scenarios.
Experience and Skills:
  • At least 10 years of Software Services Product Management experience for customer products over $100M.
  • Undergraduate degree in related fields such as: Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or other areas combined with relevant work experience.
  • An MBA is preferred.
  • MA&D experience with international deals in excess of $50M
  • Experience generating outstanding results in product architecture, enterprise architecture, and integration platform design. as well as Software Services Product Manager at a high performing tech-enabled product company; Education industry preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with software product management and development approaches (Agile, cloud and integration)
  • Strategic thinking and a demonstrated ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Ability to apply user insights, data, and statistical analyses to inform decisions.
  • Self-motivated with the proven ability to learn fast and be resourceful.
  • Enjoys and can demonstrate ability to work well in a highly matrixed, collaborative, creative and mission-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong experience "selling their ideas" in a senior leadership role within a technology-driven organization.
  • Strong quantitative skills and a deep understanding of product funnels and data analytics
  • A thirst for educational innovation, while being up to date with the latest trends, policies and best practices in education and product management
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
