    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Special Education, Educational Administration, Pupil Services, or appropriate related field or evidence of equivalency.
    • Five years of successful teaching experience.
    • Three years of successful administrative or leadership experience with preferred experience in Special Education, Transition-to-Work Endorsement, and/or School/District Administration.
    • Expertise and/or significant leadership experience at the district level in one or more of the following areas: curriculum, instruction, assessment, special education Pre-K-12, transition services and supports for students with disabilities, data analysis, data-based decision making, academic and behavior supports, strategic problem solving, coaching and consulting, school improvement, high-quality professional development, etc).
    • Possess knowledge and expertise in the understanding and development of systems to integrate multiple initiatives, personnel, and departments for the development of strategic improvement efforts.
    • Preference is given to candidates with knowledge and expertise regarding improving educational opportunities for students with disabilities.
    • Current Ohio Teacher or other applicable educator license issued by the Ohio State Board of Education.
    RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):
    • Provide coaching and technical assistance focused on data analysis to improve outcomes for underperforming student groups focused on students with disabilities and their access to high-quality core instruction.
    • Provide coaching to identified LEAs to build knowledge, skills and practices for the implementation of an MTSS framework to ensure an integrative, proactive and preventative model.
    • Assist identified local education agencies (LEAs) with developing collaborative, problem-solving teaming structures to make data-based decisions leading to improved educational outcomes for all students.
    • Provide coaching with leaders and staff to implement evidence-based instructional to improve outcomes for all students, especially PreK-12 students with disabilities.
    • Provide professional development, coaching, and technical assistance to support the implementation of regional and statewide school improvement initiatives (e.g. Future Forward Ohio; Ohio’s Plan to Raise Literacy Achievement; Science of Reading and Structured Literacy; Attendance; Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports).
    • Provide coaching and support to district and building leaders to develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices.
    • Other duties as may be assigned.
    SALARY: Determined by education and experience; 205-day contract
