Humphrey Job Corps Center provides training programs that help at-risk students obtain their high school diploma or an equivalency, industry-recognized certifications, and the life skills needed to be fully qualified for the job market. MAIN DUTIES: CNA Instructors perform instruction in a regular vocational classroom setting. They coach students on how to take vital signs and perform clinical duties like feeding, toileting, hygiene and mobility, ultimately preparing each student to take the CNA certification. They provide overall direction and leadership to the Clinical Nursing Instructor Program by providing instruction and training to students. And, they promote a positive and desirable atmosphere which facilitates optimal student progress within the classroom setting. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse (RN) license in Minnesota. Two years or more nursing experience and at least one year of experience in the provision of Long-term Care Facility services in the last five years. Must have or acquire certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid. Train the Trainer Certification preferred. An LPN may be considered if allowed.
