Education Explorers is a network of four licensed Certified Family Home Childcare program in Washington and Multnomah County. We are professional and passionate about caring for and educating young children, and our goal is to increase the number of early education teachers from shared cultures and language backgrounds as our student body.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher/Provider to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising at least two staff, experience in childhood development and education, with a focus on early intervention and literacy education.

**Duties:**

- Provide educational instruction to students in a classroom setting

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with Highscope curriculum standards

- Create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment

- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed

- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other staff members to support student learning

- Utilize various teaching methods to engage students and enhance their learning experience

**Experience:**

- Shared lived experiences with the children who are enrolled in the program.

- At least 1 year of experience in toddler care or early childhood education in a licensed childcare program.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children of various ages

- Knowledge of special education practices and techniques

- Strong understanding of classroom management strategies

- Background in literacy education and promoting reading skills

- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
