Title: Brand Manager

Reports To: Senior Creative Director

Department: EMS Marketing | Creative

Location: Remote / Lenexa, KS

Position Summary:

EducationDynamics is a marketing and enrollment management services company dedicated to connecting students with the right school for them. We are higher education experts and full-funnel marketers who live and breathe data, optimization, and results.

As a Brand Manager on our Creative team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing branding strategies that resonate with prospective students and educational partners. This role demands a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and leadership to manage brand initiatives that enhance visibility and engagement.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with our client partners to develop and refine their overall brand story, messaging pillars, and value propositions.
  • Leverage individual client data to create unique personas for specific prospective student audiences, and define how to create meaningful and resonant messages through every stage of their decision-making: awareness, consideration, conversion, enrollment, and retention.
  • Lead the development of campaign briefs and other internal creative processes to ensure creative cohesion through different mediums, funnel implementations, and ad formats.
  • Own and advocate for the overall brand identity of our top clients across all marketing channels. Provide brand review for marketing creative and ensure it is in line with overall brand positioning and the prospective student journey.
  • Coach and lead the designers and content writers who execute on different facets of the client’s overall brand story.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Creative Director and Marketing leadership to drive creative alignment across the student marketing funnel, leveraging data and insights.
  • Research and perform detailed category analysis to understand how our client partners compare to competitors, align with student expectations, and differentiate themselves in a crowded market.
  • Share and report on the success of different marketing campaigns, identifying insights that can be leveraged for future creative approaches.

Educational Requirements and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field OR relevant work experience

Required Skills:

  • 5 years of client-facing experience in brand management, marketing, design, or creative
  • Proven experience in brand strategy development and execution
  • Strong project management skills and experience leading creative projects and teams
  • Proficiency with Creative tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite for communicating and expressing ideas
  • An understanding of the Higher Education and Post-Secondary Education sector
