EduCare Children’s Academy is now hiring Childcare Teachers for our center. We are looking for a person that is professional, energetic, loves children and has a passion for education.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement daily activities to maximise learning potential
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Provide guidance and instruction to students in areas of personal, social, emotional and physical development
• Create and maintain a safe, healthy classroom environment consistent with standards and values of the organization
• Maintain professional standards, including attending training sessions as needed
• Attend staff meetings, trainings and team meetings as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience/Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 1 year experience teaching children from 2 years old to 5 years old required
• CDA preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work with children from diverse backgrounds. This includes working with children from diverse racial/ethnic backgrounds, religious/ethnically diverse backgrounds, single parent homes, etc. It does not matter if you have never worked in a childcare center before or have worked in many different centers, we are looking for you to be willing to learn new skills. We are willing to train the right person!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
