QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education.
• Active state-level licensure and/or certification OR ability to obtain.
• Experience working in schools or with children is preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing lesson plans for their classes.
• Monitoring their classes during downtime to help them develop a positive community for themselves and their peers.
• Working with faculty, administration, and other teaching professionals in their school.
• Teaching subjects such as Math, Science, Physical Education, English writing and reading, Art, Music, and History.
• Recording grades for each of their students and developing plans to help them achieve learning and personal goals.
• Communicating with parents and guardians about the needs of their students and the overall progress each student makes in their classroom.
