Scope of Position

• Overall responsibility for building business relationships with current, former and new clients

Essential Functions

• Create, generate and submit job orders
• Continually review business opportunities
• Contact employers by phone or in person and attempt to schedule face- to-face meetings
• Perform initial and follow-up client visits as necessary
• Develop and execute a marketing/advertising plan including social media marketing and content creation
• Interface with other company departments and employees
• Provide, as required, target estimates or goals and periodic progress reports
• Develop a network for potential business leads
• Connect with job-ready customers and present to employer network for job opportunities
• Engage job seekers for open positions
• Support and perform PACareerLink® tasks as assigned
• Provide weekly reporting of metrics to Business Services Representative Supervisor
• Represent EDSI/PACareerLink® at conferences, meetings and selected social functions as required
• Attend Chamber events and other economic gatherings as necessary
• Follow up with EDSI/PACareerLink® employees to ensure that client expectations are met
• Enter employer information into all appropriate databases and monitor employer activities
• Meet performance criteria on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
• Promote local product box of OJT, Economic Development and Incumbent Worker training opportunities
• Perform all aspects of the OJT process IAW OJT Contract and Customer flow
• Plan, promote, and attend virtual and in person hiring events and job fairs

Required Experience:

Required Experience

• Marketing and sales experience preferred
• Customer service experience required
• Must be comfortable making presentations to large groups of people and employers
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be computer literate
• Experience using creative suite software such as Adobe, Canva, or Corel
• Valid Driver’s License and an automobile are required

Education:

• Associates Degree or 2–5 years of relevant experience in sales and customer service
• Travel up to 50%
