Local OEM seeking qualified candidates for painting and assembly operations of industrial machinery sub assemblies. Looking for individuals with 2 years experience in applying two part epoxy paint. Solid knowledge of reading specification drawings to perform work as well as good general math skills to setup and run jobs independently. We offer a clean work environment with stable work flow. Must be detail orientated, a team player and have the ability to switch between work priorities as required. Cross-trainable into electrical andor mechanical machinery assembly areas as needed.

Job Details

• Set-up and preparation of machinery sub-assemblies to be painted
• Applying primer and top coat i/a/w product and company standards
• Inspection of parts produced prior to QA sign-off
• Working to company quality standards
• Cross-train into machine assembly areas as needed

Job Qualifications 2 years painting experience in an industrial machinery manufacturing environment

• Demonstrated ability to paint cleanly and efficiently
• Ability to read and follow work instructions/drawings
• Ability to use measuring tools to perform job
• Ability to plan work flow in accordance with production schedule and work independently
• Proficiently operate HPLV hand spray guns
• Knowledge of enclosed heated paint booth operation
• Able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time and able to occasionally lift and move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to be fitted for breathing respirator
• Energetic, Self-Starter, Detailed Orientated, Team Player
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Must pass a drug test and background check
• Must have VALID OSHA10 or OSHA30 certification certified within last 5 years

Responsibilities * Operate & maintain various paint spraying and accessory equipment

• Test paint viscosity to ensure proper coating is applied
• Mix paint, thinner and chemicals as required per job
• Material handling within workcenter to setup and perform work
• Accurate completion of job and quality documentation
• Perform all tasks and other duties as directed by supervisor in accordance with company's quality processes, health & safety policies, as well as industry standards andor project specifications. Pay based on experience, excellent benefits, 401K, E.O.E.
