    About the Position
    The Maintenance and Operations Office Coordinator oversees the general administrative function and clerical activities of the Maintenance Office. Additionally, this position maintains the department's computerized work order information system, monitors department budget expenditures, and serves as a point-of-contact for the Maintenance Office.     REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Education and Experience:
    • 18 years of age and hold a high school diploma or equivalent; and
    • Hold a post-secondary or advanced degree; or
    • Earned a minimum of ten (10) relevant college credits; or
    • Have three (3) years of relevant experience.
    • Per Governor Jay Inslee's proclamation, all school district employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved medical or religious exemption. All new hires will be required to provide verification of vaccination or be eligible for an exemption, as a condition of employment.
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    • Three (3) to five (5) years of related work experience preferred.
    • Experience working in a K-12 education system or school district preferred
    Salary: 2021-22 Office Personnel Salary Schedule, Level E: $31.69 per hour.
    Work Schedule: 8 hours per day, 260 days per year, continuing
    Continuing Position: Employees have reasonable assurance of continued employment to the following school year. However, an employee's total work hours and the designated beginning and ending times may vary.
    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
    Benefits
    Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for health insurance at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a .5 FTE continuing contract position, or being hired into a non-continuing position that is anticipated to reach 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a .6 FTE contract (continuing or non-continuing).
