Special Education Moderate Behavior Teacher. Centennial Elementary School. (06/09/2022 Replacement Position) Certification 2556-Mild/Mod. Begins 08/04/2022. Temporary Contract / District Scale. Application deadline 07/31/2021 or until filled. 

Job Goal:

• Implement EPS SpED Mod Behavior Program Curriculum and Instruction to support K-5 students served in the moderate behavior program to support them in mastering their IEP goals and achieving success in their respective grade levels. 
• Achieve at least "proficient" in all areas of the TLE (Teacher Leadership Evaluation) Rubric.

Skills required:

• Maintain knowledge of trends in educating children with disabilities and the law governing that area. 
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Patience, perseverence and a commitment to collaborate with others on our team to remove obstacles which prevent success of students who meet criteria for special education support due to exceptional behavior needs. 
• Trainings reyquired: will be provided with CPI training and other trainings to support your success in supporting students.

Contract: One hundred eighty one (181) contract days / temporary contract.

Salary: District Special Ed. salary schedule.

Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Site Principal in accordance with the provisions of the Board's policies and state law.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor of Arts degree in education with special education training.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Oklahoma teaching certificate with special education endorsement.
