Position Summary:
This is for an experience commercial herbicide applicator or license pest control licensee holder with at least 6 months of experience. Edko, LLC is seeking candidates with experience in vegetation management or a related field. A background in forestry, arboriculture or a related field is beneficial but not required. Personnel are expected to perform herbicide applications along right-of-ways and road sides. Operators will plan, direct, and coordinate application efforts, and interface with other personnel and customers.
Requirements: Excellent communication skills Ability to work in inclement weather Ability to interpret and follow maps Ability to use a laptop and handheld computers Valid Driver License with a clean driving record is required The ability to work independently for long hours and out of town with extended overnight travel Vegetation management experience, tree knowledge and ID skills a Plus
