*Edison Home Health Care* is a leading established Home Health Care Agency, servicing patients in all 5 NYC boroughs. We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to care for patients in the home care setting for the Manhattan area.
*Job Duties:*
* Evaluates patients referred for home care to determine appropriateness for admission.
* Assesses patients routinely and creates/adjusts the aide Plan of Care based on patient needs.
* Provides routine supervision to Home Health Aides and ongoing instruction/counseling as needed.
* Completes documentation accurately and submits it to the agency office in a timely manner.
* Establishes and promotes ongoing communication with Agency personnel.
* Assures customer satisfaction.
*Qualifications:*
* R.N. diploma from an accredited NLN program with a minimum of an associate degree (BSN preferred). Current, valid, and unencumbered RN license, certificate or registration or credentialing as required.
* Intermediate Ability to use computerized systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, HHA Exchange, Electronic and Telephonic Assessments.
* Travel by public transportation is *required* and will be compensated.
*Required experience:*
* 1 year minimum of Nursing experience - Required.
* Home care experience - Preferred but not required.
* Bilingual Spanish - Preferred but not required
