Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming techniques and water safety skills to students of all ages and skill levels. Responsibilities:

- Conduct swim lessons in a safe and supportive environment

- Develop lesson plans and tailor instruction based on individual needs

- Teach proper swimming techniques, including strokes, breathing, and floating

- Provide guidance on water safety practices and emergency procedures

- Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback

- Maintain a clean and organized pool area

- Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard is preferred

- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swimming strokes

- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate swimming techniques

- Experience working with children, teenagers, and adults in an instructional setting

- Knowledge of behavior management techniques

- Experience working with students with diverse abilities is an asset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
