Purpose:

We are seeking a skilled Technical Architect to lead our initiatives in crafting and deploying cutting-edge software solutions. In this pivotal role, you'll dive deep into our technical ecosystem, collaborating closely with stakeholders to devise strategies that enhance our operations. Your expertise will guide the creation and execution of architectural designs that prioritize performance, scalability, and security. Working alongside our development teams, you'll ensure the seamless integration and implementation of our technical solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a robust technical foundation, paired with consulting acumen and a proven track record in problem-solving. Your strategic insight will be instrumental in driving the success of our customer-centric projects, setting new benchmarks in innovation and efficiency.

What that looks like day to day:

1. System Architecture & Design with a Focus on Modern Web Technologies:
   • Work alongside solution architects and development teams to define and analyze business requirements, with a particular emphasis on leveraging React, Redux, Nest.js, and Next.js for front-end and back-end integration.
   • Design detailed technical solutions that prioritize scalability, performance, and reliability, ensuring they are optimized for SQL Server and Azure API Gateways.
2. Advanced Technology Assessment & Strategic Adoption:
   • Conduct in-depth evaluations of emerging web technologies and frameworks, advocating for those that enhance project outcomes within the context of React, Redux, Nest.js, and Next.js ecosystems.
   • Stay ahead of technology trends, applying insights to drive architectural decisions that align with Azure cloud services and SQL Server optimizations.
3. Standards & Best Practices in Application Development:
   • Establish and maintain high standards for code quality and system design within the context of our chosen technology stack, promoting the use of best practices in API design, data flow, and schema architecture.
   • Ensure solutions are designed with multi-region support and high availability in mind, leveraging Azure's global infrastructure.
4. Quality Assurance through Expert Review:
   • Lead code reviews with a focus on adherence to React, Redux, Nest.js, and Next.js best practices, as well as SQL Server performance optimization.
   • Provide constructive feedback to developers, emphasizing the importance of clean, maintainable code and efficient data access patterns.
5. Technical Leadership & Mentorship in Web Development:
   • Offer mentorship and guidance to development teams, focusing on advanced techniques in web development, API design, and cloud-native solutions with Azure.
   • Act as a technical evangelist to stakeholders and clients, clearly communicating the benefits and considerations of our tech stack decisions.
6. Project Technical Oversight for Web Projects:
   • Ensure technical projects are executed flawlessly, adhering to architectural designs, within timelines, and across different regions using Azure's cloud infrastructure.
   • Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients, aiding in the translation of complex web technology challenges into strategic solutions.
   • Proactively address and resolve technical challenges, providing expert guidance on issue resolution related to API gateways, database performance, and cross-region deployment strategies.
7. Collaborative Innovation & Client Engagement:
   • Foster a collaborative environment with solution architects, project managers, and clients to ensure the technical vision is clearly communicated and effectively implemented.
   • Lead by example in the adoption of modern web technologies and cloud solutions, ensuring architectural integrity and the successful delivery of React, Redux, Nest.js, and Next.js applications.
   • Engage with clients through workshops and presentations, offering insights into the design and deployment of scalable, high-performance web applications leveraging our core technologies.

Who You Are:

You are a visionary Technical Architect with a passion for designing software solutions that push the boundaries of innovation. With a unique ability to distill complex requirements into actionable architecture, you're a master at solving complex technical challenges. Your analytical skills are unmatched, enabling you to dissect problems and devise strategic solutions. Communication is your strong suit, adept at bridging technical details with business needs, ensuring stakeholders at all levels are aligned and engaged. Your presence is equally commanding over video calls as it is in person, making you a versatile partner in any project scenario.

What You’ll Need:

• 5-7 years’ experience: as a technical architect in mid to large sized organizations
• Technical Leadership: With an extensive background in software architecture, you are an authority in creating scalable, high-performance solutions using React, Redux, Nest.js, Next.js, and similar frameworks. Your leadership guides projects from conception through to deployment.
• Data Management and Analytics: Your expertise in SQL Server is complemented by a profound understanding of data flow design, schema design, and integration with Big Data technologies. You excel at employing ETL processes and tools to manage and transform data efficiently.
• API Mastery: You are proficient in designing RESTful APIs and utilizing Azure API gateways, ensuring seamless and secure data exchange between disparate systems.
• Performance Optimization: Known for your ability to tune systems for optimal performance, you have a keen eye for identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions that ensure smooth, efficient operation.
• Strategic Relationship Management: Your ability to foster and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including technical teams and C-suite executives, sets you apart. Your consultative approach ensures alignment and drives project success.
• Integration Expertise: You bring a wealth of experience in enterprise application integration, demonstrating a deep understanding of Web Services, Data Modeling, and the application of integration patterns and tools in complex environments.
• Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Your career is marked by a relentless pursuit of knowledge, staying ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving tech landscape. Your adaptability is your strength, enabling you to embrace new technologies and methodologies with ease.
• Cloud Solutions Acumen: You are well-versed in deploying and managing cloud-based data solutions, particularly within Azure ecosystems, leveraging services such as Event Hubs, Azure App Services, AKS, Azure API Gateways, to build resilient, multi-tenant environments.
