Purpose & Impact:

At edible, you will have the unique opportunity to impacthappiness directly by enhancing our store technology. Your work will include developing advanced store management systems, kitchen display software, and various innovative in-store technologies.

This role is not just about coding; it's about enriching moments of celebration and making every interaction with our technology a delightful experience. As a key player in our tech team, you'll collaborate closely with other software engineers and architects to craft systems that not only streamline operations but also bring smiles to faces. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and success of our stores, making a tangible difference in the day-to-day operations and, ultimately, our guests’ satisfaction.

Location Requirements: 

This position may be based in New York City OR based out of our home office in Sandy Springs, GA. In both locations, you will work onsite in our offices, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.

What that looks like day to day:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable software solutions.
• Develop and maintain application architecture components.
• Develop comprehensive diagrams providing a visual representation of the system architecture.

• Exploring and implementing new technologies to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
• Designing seamless integrations between different technology components.
• Oversee data conversion activities and ensure optimal application performance.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in a software engineering and/or architect role.
• You demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills through the interview process

• You are proficient in designing complex software systems and architecture diagrams.
• You bring a deep understanding of .NET, ASP, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
• You can integrate various software components and systems seamlessly.
• You can tackle complex technical challenges effectively.
• You can demonstrate the ability to lead and mentor a team of software engineers and architects.
• You are proficient in communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
