Culinary Innovation Intern

Purpose: 

As a Culinary Innovation Intern at Edible, you will be in a dynamic role learning and contributing to the behind-the-scenes culinary product innovation at Edible, as well as an inside look at what it takes to bring products from ideation to ready-for-order. 

Location: This position will work onsite out of our home office in Sandy Springs, GA, with work from home flexibility on Fridays.

What that looks like day to day:

• Utilize new platforms and internal systems to provide ongoing trend updates and competitive analysis in the gifting and indulgent treats industry.
• Support Category Managers to achieve team initiatives, strengthen product launches and drive sales growth.
• Support growth strategies through competitor analysis and researching trends, contributing to the innovation of Edible products 
• Assisting preparing products and displays in preparation for photo shoots
• Getting hands on end-to-end culinary innovation experience, from ideation to being hands in our onsite innovation kitchen 
• Learn and assist with behind-the-scenes processes for launching new products on the web, in stores, and through marketing channels

Requirements and essential competencies:

• You are curious about the hottest trends and the new flavors and ingredients social media is talking about.
• Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and works well collaborating with cross functional teams
• Flexible and willing to learn and help in any capacity to support the innovation process. We may need an extra set of hands in the test kitchen for product development, new product research assistance or want you to help the field with a PR event for new product launch
• Creative problem solver who is solutions oriented 
• Organized with strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple requests / projects at once
