Position: Mid-level OSINT AnalystLocation: Pittsburgh, PA (onsite)OverviewThe OSINT Analyst conducts all-source analytic production on sources and products of information available from public, private, and U.S. and foreign Government open-source materials within established security protocols. Analyzes foreign and domestic-based publicly available information to identify trends, patterns, and relationships that provide unique insights to address defense intelligence requirements.
Essential Job Function And ResponsibilitiesTier 2 - Open Source Intelligence Analyst
This is an open position for an Open Source (OS) Intelligence Analyst who will be responsible for the identification, collection and analysis of online intelligence, both in the open web as well as the deep/dark web.
- Understand open-source data in the context of physical security, and intelligence
- Beyond searching the indexed web
- Experience using multiple open-source tools (free and/or paid)
- Conduct research with deep/dark web data
- Research, identify, and report based on a wide variety of client requirements
- Conduct longer-term research projects and short term quick-looks
- Support real-time monitoring and reporting during live events
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Possess strong analytical skills (must be able to fuse information and tell a story)
- Be self-motivated, self-driven, and self-educating
- Function well in a fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to work on projects alone or as part of a team
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Etc.)
- Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends as required.
