Position Summary:The role of a Villa Concierge Coordinator at Edgewood Tahoe is to connect with the Villa guest from booking to their departure and everything in between to ensure the guest experience is tailored to their needs. The Villa team performs as the Villa guests’ personal concierge while orchestrating their visit such as coordinating transportation, provisioning, private chefs, dining spa, golf reservations and catering.
A Villa Concierge Coordinator will be well versed within all hotels programming and activities, including all surrounding areas for a seamless process for our guests. You are in a position that is highly valued in creating lasting memories for our guests. You will assist in training and overseeing your team with the assistance of your manager to maintain exceptional level of service to our Villa guests. Essential Functions:
  • Create itineraries for guests dining and adventures in ALICE.
  • Build early on rapport with customers and provide them with genuine guidance and support.
  • Act as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information.
  • Understand guests’ needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and
  • facilities provided by the hotel or in local area.
  • Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations.
  • Coordinate and assist fellow team members with guest requests even when outside direct concierge duties. Examples good be catered events, Edgewood focused transportation, and in room dining facilitation.
  • Manage supporting documentation for the Villa life best practices and stand operating procedures.
  • Coordinate off site transportation as and when needed.
  • Provide a welcome and coordinate the check in process.
  • Arrange events, excursions, transportation etc. upon request from hotel guests.
  • Answer the phone and make reservations.
  • Organize special functions/ activities as directed by management.
  • Stay current and up to date with all hotel services as well as daily VIP requests and special events.
  • Project a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and guest service.
  • Handle guest recovery and solve problem to the degree possible.
  • For this specific role you would be asked to manage the Edgewood Family stay reservations, and all associated services and communications.
  • For this role we would ask that you are responsible for a weekly snapshot highlighting guest reviews, guest service scores and various informative on property services for the week.

Qualifications / Special Skills:
  • The ideal candidate is a seasoned and highly effective professional.
  • Proven experience as concierge retail role advantageous.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Polite and confident with a great deal of patience.
  • Ability in multitasking and time management.
  • Aptitude in resolving issues with customer-focused orientation.
  • Previous hotel-related experience desired.
  • Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
