We are seeking a polished and professional individual for the role of Receptionist. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as the Receptionist interacts with all levels of the organization. The qualified candidate should be comfortable working independently and adjust smoothly to changing priorities to accomplish the most critical/sensitive issues on a timely basis. Must be able to balance priorities, and take initiative.
We're seeking a positive individual who is always ready to learn, grow, and take on new challenges.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of LIHTC experience
  • Working knowledge of resident waitlist compliance
  • Assist with the review all initial Tenant Income Certification (TICs) prior to move-in (LIHTC)
  • Must be knowledgeable of all local, state and federal Fair Housing laws and regulations
  • Superior customer service skills and the ability to deal with difficult people and challenging situations while maintaining a positive and calm demeanor
  • Ability to effectively and accurately communicate and present information verbally and in writing
  • Must be proficient with MS Office

Skills Required:

  • Working knowledge of Tax credit certification and recertification. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong knowledge of LIHTC regulations
  • Strong knowledge of the IRS 8823 Guide as well as the HUD Manual 4350.3
  • Assist with the LIHTC portion of the rent ups
  • Assist with review of Certified Rent Rolls mid-year and at year end
  • Assist with tracking and corrections of any and all 8823s
  • Assist with preparation of HOME Annual Owner Certifications
  • Centralize and maintain LIHTC tenant files for audit ready purposes
  • Perform in-house audits as needed
  • Prepare reports as needed
