Edgewater Technical Associates is Hiring a Programs and Project Subject Matter Expert (SME) Near Aiken, SC

Edgewater* Technical Associates* is seeking qualified candidates for a* Program and Project Subject Matter Expert (SME)* opportunity located at the Savannah River Site.

Work Location: Aiken, SC

Application Deadline: 04/02/24 (by noon ET)

Program and Project Subject Matter Expert (SME)-

The Program and Project SME will provide support in the form of 3D Model and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality design reviews and development of support procedures and processes for project integration interface with engineering and procurement.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personnel for project controls to support the Plutonium (Pu) Programs and Operations; including the following: Reviewing SRPPF Design from an Operations perspective utilizing the 3D Model and Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality (AR/VR).
  • Provide written and verbal analysis and recommendations to management.

Education/Work Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science degree or Master of Science degree and extensive specialized training; or extensive experience applicable to special needs of the task or highly specialized training directly applicable to the task area.

Experience/Skills:

  • A minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in applicable role
  • A minimum of ten (10) years in an executive role or a highly specialized area applicable to the special or unique needs of the task.
  • Recognized in federal program or project area or federal technical community as a leader in applicable subject matter.
  • Plutonium Operations experience performing design reviews from an Operations perspective.
  • Demonstrated skills using computer software including word processing, email, spreadsheets, power point, and databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two (2) years.

Other Job Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance.
