Edgewater Technical Associates is Hiring a NQA-1 QA/QC Manager Near Los Alamos, NM

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an NQA-1 QA/QC Manager opportunity in Los Alamos, New Mexico for the LANL Facility.

This position requires field work onsite supporting a Fire Protection upgrade project.

Job Duties:

Perform Maintenance and implementation of the project quality manual and implementing procedures for compliance to NQA-1 and LANL specifications. Perform surveillances of work being performed and generate reports, as required. Maintain a robust corrective actions program, report and verify nonconforming items are corrected in accordance with engineering work instructions. Review all submittals to LANL for compliance with the contract documents prior to submitting. Train all craft personnel on the Quality Assurance program.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates shall have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working under or implementing an NQA-1 program on a construction project.
  • Understanding and knowledge of NQA-1 requirements is required
  • Construction/Electrical QA/QC experience is desirable.
  • Department of Energy (DOE) project experience and/or nuclear/radiological project experience preferred.
  • Understanding of applicable DOE and EM QA policies and requirements is desired.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project experience with fire protection systems is a plus.
  • US Citizenship required.
