Position Overview:

Edgesource is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Team Lead in support of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Stakeholder Engagement Division (SED). This role can support a hybrid work schedule with onsite duties being performed at the client facility in Arlington, VA (near Ballston Quarter / Metro accessible). Additionally, all candidates MUST be US citizens who are willing to undergo a background investigation and maintain a US government security clearance.

Job Duties: 

• Manage efforts of 35-50 employees. 
• Apply knowledge of U.S. critical infrastructure sectors and key policies, such as the Presidential Policy Directive 21.
• Apply knowledge of federal government contract support.
• Identify customer requirements and feedback on an ongoing basis.
• Forecast staffing needs and opportunities to support employees’ career growth.
• Manage customer and employee expectations.
• Communicate with senior leadership.
• Participate in interviews to identify talent support positions.

Required Qualifications: 

• US citizen who is willing to be sponsored for a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study.
• 5 years of related work experience.
• Strong understanding and applied work experience within critical infrastructure.
• Ability to work onsite 40-80% of the time at the client facility in Arlington, VA. 
• Possess strong verbal and presentation skills. 
• Experience in coaching junior and mid-level employees. 
• Experience with supporting federal government customers.

Desired Qualifications (NOT REQUIRED):

• Active DHS suitability and / or government security clearance.
• Demonstrated success in managing large teams, subgroups, and diverse skill sets/job duties.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
