Infection Control/Wound Care Nurse

Edgehill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is a nonprofit facility that offers skilled nursing services in a warm, caring and beautiful environment. We are currently seeking an Infection Control/ Wound Care Nurse to join our collaborative team.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the managing the overall nursing department operation, including budget control, recruitment, retention, quality of care and regulatory standard compliance. In addition, our ideal candidate will be responsible to serves as the Infection Preventionist by providing assistance and guidance to the nursing units and nursing team members regarding infection prevention and infection control practices within CDC recommendations and State and Federal regulations.

This position will monitor and manage the wounds within the facility. Provide guidance to the nursing units on the importance of prevention of wounds as well as care of wounds when they exist. In addition, oversee and guide the facility so that facility Wound Management remains within the guidelines of State and Federal Regulations.

Individuals must be team players with proven leadership skills, have 3-5 years of progressive long term care experience, possess excellent verbal/written communication skills, and have a stable work history. RN license is required and prior ADON experience is a preferred.
