What You Will Own:

How You Will Succeed:

• Collaborate with the CEO, executive team, and various departments.
• Write and review high quality, well-tested and scalable new code.
• Prototype new concepts efficiently and iterate for rapid feedback.
• Learn new technologies and concepts quickly.
• Unlock your team’s leverage by mentoring, building their skill sets and giving them as much ownership as possible.
• Build quality enterprise solutions with a professional design and coding process.
• Influence the production roadmap and impact technology stack decisions.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Hunger to successfully go “1 to 10” again!
• Passion for creating a next-generation SaaS experience.
• Leadership skills that enable you to level up those around you.
• You know how to find the right answers by asking the right questions
• Effective recruiting skills to find top talent specific to your department’s needs.
• Experience collaborating with various departments to create and ship impactful, high-quality products.
• The understanding that code is read 10x as much as it's written and take pride in the architectural quality of your code.
• Experience effectively weighing when to incur tech debt vs when to pay it off.
• Strong awareness of risk and security to ensure we are compliant and secure at all times.
• Working knowledge of the following:
  • Github in a team environment
  • Object Oriented Programming Principles
  • React and Typescript
  • State management systems (ie: Recoil or Redux)
  • SCSS, utilizing object literals and variable to create scopes styles
  • MVC framework
  • Web Request Viewer for API development and testing (ie: Postman)
  • SQL and NoSQL (Mongo Atlas)
  • Backend tech for web applications (ie: AWS, Lamda, API gateways, Elastic Beanstalk)
  • Backend data storage and API infrastructure that support user facing services
