The health system’s pediatric hospital in Philadelphia has been a leader in pediatric care since 1875. The hospital’s nationally recognized programs and pediatric specialists provide exceptional care to children from throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and around the world. 
We seek a Pennsylvania licensed dentist for the role of Pediatric Dentist. The person in this role will provide supervision of the pediatric dental residents during clinic, in the operating room and during conscious sedation procedures. Participation is required for resident didactic lectures, clinical care and evaluations. She/he will be required to actively participate in the development and implementation of goals for the Pediatric Dental Residency Program. She/he will engage in the development and foster resident research activities. Advancement opportunities to Associate Program Director and Program Director positions will be made available for the right person who exhibits leadership qualities and skills.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor in Dental Surgery (DDS) from a CODA accredited dental school. Must be certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. Must be able to obtain dental license to practice dentistry in the State of Pennsylvania. Must be able to obtain dental anesthesia permit – restricted I (oral conscious sedation) in the State of Pennsylvania.
