We seek candidates with electrophysiology experience for the role of Nurse Practitioner – Electrophysiology Cardiology (Inpatient/Outpatient). The person in this role will work collaboratively with the Electrophysiologist, Cardiologists, Cardiothoracic Surgeon, and staff to provide high quality, patient centered care at the Heart and Vascular Clinic, located in Glenwood Springs Colorado. This clinic that is located on the main hospital campus. Although this position is both outpatient and inpatient; the majority of the time will be OUTPATIENT, so we are looking for candidates with strong outpatient experience.
Candidates must have a Master's degree in Nursing and hold unrestricted APN - Nurse Practitioner License in Colorado (DORA) as well as Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license. Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). Must have general health care and cardiovascular patient assessment and exam skills. Must have electrophysiology experience. Must be able to function independently.
