Edge Landscaping Inc., headquartered in Wilmington, NC, is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Division Director. The Maintenance Director is responsible for overall operations of our Commercial Maintenance division. The Maintenance Director will have direct responsibility for the Account Management and Operations teams. Labor management and production efficiency are key focus areas. We're seeking a strategic manager to lead our company through a growth phase, doubling our revenue from $4 million to $8 million. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in scaling a landscaping business and implementing effective strategies. Your role will be pivotal in driving our company towards this ambitious yet attainable goal.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and monitor daily production of landscape maintenance operations.
• Oversee scheduling, development of production planning, and post-job analysis.
• Establish Maintenance Division staffing levels monthly based on need vs. budget.
• Ensure fulfillment of contractual commitments.
• Directly manage the Account Management Team and participate in onsite customer meetings as needed.
• Work with the Account Management Team to ensure achievement of Enhancement Sales objectives.
• Collaborate with the Account Management Team to achieve contract renewal and retention goals.
• Ensure ongoing safety, quality, and productivity education for Production Managers.
• Budget, track, and manage production hours and operating expenses.
• Implement and oversee an ongoing equipment maintenance program and assist in equipment purchase planning.
• Conduct periodic performance and annual compensation reviews for direct reports.
• Enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Oversee and monitor daily production of landscape maintenance, enhancements, turf, ornamental applications, and irrigation.
• Establish staffing levels monthly based on need.
• Ensure jobs are completed according to contract and within budget.
• Manage key client relationships in support of Account Managers.
• Identify and achieve new contract maintenance sales goals with Business Development.
• Work with Account Managers to achieve renewal and retention goals.
• Monitor safety, quality, and productivity with Production Managers.
• Control production hours, productivity, and division expenses.
• Collaborate with the Executive Team to establish and maintain the branch's annual budget.
• Monitor monthly financial performance and deliver timely reports to the Executive Team.
• Administer preventive maintenance and manage equipment repair and replacement.
• Coordinate with Human Resources on corrective actions, staffing, and training needs.

• At least 3 years’ experience managing landscape operations and/or customer services teams in the commercial landscape maintenance space
