A cycle counter is responsible for counting and monitoring product inventories at a warehouse to ensure materials align with the declared lists and documents. Besides their cycle counting responsibilities, they are also in charge of utilizing special software to evaluate product inventories, measuring, and weighing products, maintaining records, opening and re-packaging shipments, organizing products according to protocols, locating lost goods, and reporting inconsistent or damaged goods. Moreover, a cycle counter may also participate in maintaining work areas clean.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage inventory cycle count program to ensure that optimum customer satisfaction is achieved by minimizing out-of-stock situations.

· Oversee and help to perform detailed and precise cycle counts of all locations in accordance with established guidelines to determine inventory accuracy and report findings to Supply Chain Manager.

· Ensure inventory items are counted according to the Cycle Count Program.

· Investigate negative inventory balances, determine root causes, influence corrective solutions, and ensure inventory counts are corrected.

· Quality Control, Receiving Inspection support.

· Transfer orders from the Supply Chain Team

· Pull, stage and load trailers as needed.

Requirements

Required Skills, Knowledge, Experience:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

· Strong analytical skills and ability to perform focused in-depth investigations to address a variety of issues and reach conclusions with findings.

· Requires strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization and address sensitive issues in a diplomatic nature.

· Proficient use of computers including report retrieval. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and Scan Gun ERP systems are essential.

· Immediate certification of Forklift, Scissor Lift and Swing Arm Equipment

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to operate standard office equipment.

· Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
