NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING MARKETING/GRAPHIC DESIGN SPECIALIST
Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants for the Marketing/Graphic Design Specialist in our Community Education Department. This position coordinates all marketing needs of the Community Education Department, and assists in the development and implementation of the department’s marketing and communications plans. The position reports to the Community Engagement Coordinator. Your insightful contribution will help develop, expand, and maintain our marketing goals. This position will some elaborate marketing and graphic design skills and provide you with knowledge of various program areas. Eden Prairie is a diverse school with over 1,400 employees serving approximately 9,100 students. The district is recognized for its quality initiatives and its leadership in educational programming. POSITION:
Marketing/Graphic Design Specialist
LOCATION:
Community Education - Lower Campus
RATE OF PAY:
$24.35/hour
HOURS PER DAY:
1 day/week, 5.5 hrs/day
WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:
40 days (10 month position)
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school graduate or equivalent
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience in marketing/design, graphic arts and communications.
Proficiency in design software and systems such as inDesign, Canva, etc.
Knowledge of latest marketing trends.
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reflective, life-long learner
