Genesis School – Long Island

Hours

Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

Description

The Transition Coordinator Position assists clinical coordinators and teachers assistants with transition related assessment and goal development for students. Coordinates regular meetings with staff and families to promote a positive transition.

Skills Needed

Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred. Minimum 3 years experience with individuals with disabilities. Experienced with OPWDD and Adult Services preferred. Strong planning and organizational skills. Knowledge of management skills. Experience with NYS Education Department.

Pay Rate

$62,000 – $70,000 per year
