Founded in 2017, Eden GeoPower [Eden] develops technologies to enhance the recovery of natural resources. We are developing innovate rock fracturing technology that has applications in oil and gas, geothermal, mining, carbon sequestration, and the emerging market of geologic hydrogen. Our goal is to offer a sustainable solution that reduces or eliminates the need to conduct hydraulic fracturing to access subsurface resources. With our novel electric rock fracturing technology, we will be able to decrease water contamination, wastewater production, air pollution, and induced seismicity associated with current fracturing methods. We have received more than $12.5 million in non-dilutive funding to date, and recently closed our first seed round at over $11M. We are developing custom pulsed and high-voltage equipment for testing in the field and lab environments.
We are looking for a Power or High-Voltage Electrical Engineer to work directly with Eden’s Senior Power Engineer, our Engineering team, and our partners, the Pulsed Power Research Group at the MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center, to develop pulsed power and similar high-voltage sources for Eden. The role will require knowledge of high-voltage, high-power equipment.
