Intern - 

We offer a 8-week internship program where students will develop an understanding of various departments within a public accounting firm including audit, tax and healthcare. As an intern, you will assist with data entry, filing, research, and maintaining accurate financial records. 

Major Responsibilities:

• Learn how Edelstein & Company works as a business and serves clients
• Perform specific accounting tasks in the areas of cash, receivables, inventory, fixed assets, payroll and expense analysis as delegated
• Prepare financial reports and tax returns
• Obtain a working knowledge of firm technology
• Develop strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Requirements:

• Accounting or finance majors
• Possess solid technical skills
• Strong interest in becoming a Certified Public Accountant
• Produce high quality work and uphold the firm’s code of ethics
• Be curious, be open to trying new things and ask questions
• Participate in intern and firm-wide events
