Summary of Major Functions:
This position assists in preparing and verifying therapeutic meals for patients and employees across all programs. Working under a chef/dietitian to ensure stocking, food rotation, and sanitation needs are met.

Sitting occasionally, standing frequently, walking occasionally, talking occasionally, hearing occasionally, seeing constantly, reaching with arms and hands occasionally, crouching rarely and using fingers intricately frequently. This position requires lifting/carrying up to 25 pounds occasionally and pushing (in a cart with wheels) up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Environmental conditions of this job include but are NOT limited to:
95% inside, 99% normal temperature and 99% normal noise as expected in a kitchen in a medical office environment.

Founded in 2001, EDCare offers patients, their families, healthcare professionals and the community over 16 years of eating disorder experience. Our flagship center is located in the heart of Denver, Colorado where we are committed to empowering individuals suffering from eating disorders to make healthy, long-lasting changes. EDCare has become one of the nations foremost center for the diagnosis and treatment of eating disorders. Our multidisciplinary team of board-certified psychiatrists,... physicians, clinicians, family and experiential therapists, and registered dietitians provide treatment to adults, ages 18 and older, of all genders and ethnicities. We offer a safe, judgment-free environment where individuals can gain the tools and support they need overcome the serious complications of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and other related disorders. Upon admission, an interdisciplinary treatment team is assigned to each patient based on their individual needs. This means every treatment plan is unique and is designed to fit the individual. We currently offer various programs in Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska. All of our treatment centers have earned the Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval. Housing options available in Denver and Kanas City. Most major insurance plans accepted.
