Job Description: INTERIOR DESIGNER
We are a dynamic, fast-paced interior design firm that provides comprehensive interior design services and more to our high-end, residential clientele. We have an immediate opening for an experienced interior designer. This role supports the owner/lead designer in all creative, design related tasks.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the Design Team through the development of projects from start to finish, including the creation of original design concepts, 3D presentation boards and spatial layout studies.
Assist in sourcing finishes and materials, lighting, furniture, accessories and artwork.
Maintain the design library, keep current with new product launches. Schedule appointments and meet with product representatives.
Manage project binders; keep them up to date with specified materials.
Support the Design Team to meet project schedules, budgets and deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program.
At least 3-5 years of experience in interior design or as an interior design assistant.
Ability to work collaboratively on multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills, problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and draw blueprints a must.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products. Strong Powerpoint skills a plus.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp and Photoshop a plus.
Knowledge of Design Manager software a strong plus.
Proficiency in digital rendering and hand sketching.
Salary based on qualifications and experience. We are also a very environmentally conscious studio.
Must not be allergic to cats as there is one roaming around the office at all times.
Candidate must be eligible to work in the United States and have the ability to work in our office in Bonita Springs, Florida. We will not pay for or advocate for relocation for this position.
