Description
Expand EDAG Production Solutions market reach by identifying new government contracts and opportunities.
Use existing and new relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, procurement officers and potential teaming partners to identify business opportunities.
Identify new industries, agencies, or geographic areas where government contracting services could be in demand.
Create strategic plans to target these markets.
Collaborate with team members to submit competitive proposals that align with government agencies requirements.
Drawing up the annual sales planning for the assigned customer based on EDAG PS Group's sales strategy.
Evaluation of customer requirements and development of customer-specific service packages for the assigned customers and markets.
Marketing of EDAG PS as an all-round partner for the assigned customer(s).
Acquisition of new customers and new orders from existing customers.
Identification and support of decision makers of the assigned customer(s).
Planning incoming orders for the assigned customer(s).
Compliance with and implementation of the in-house guidelines and the EDAG PS Group's bidding process.
Negotiation of quotations and the conclusion of sales with customers' purchasing departments within the limits of the powers conferred.
Requirements
Knowledge and experience of the federal government procurement processes.
Proven experience writing strong proposals during the federal procurement process.
Experience building relationships with government agencies, prime contractors, and other industry players.
Must have knowledge and experience working in government procurement platforms (eBuy/eLibrary etc)
Previous experience working in SIN 541330ENG
Up to date knowledge of the federal procurement landscape.
Responsible for developing the strategy and portfolio of assigned customers, taking account of the market situation.
Responsible for the annual sales planning of assigned customers and the target markets.
Responsible for sector and market analysis and for the definition of potential and prospective customers.
Regular reporting on all important processes from the assigned field.
Responsible for the process, from the identification of market potential and its development up to the customer's enquiry, via negotiations through to incoming orders for the assigned customer(s).
Responsible for continually checking and developing the technical sales process for the assigned customer(s).
Responsible for a steady flow of enquiries and incoming orders and for the achievement of the overall performance for the assigned customer(s).
Preparation and presentation of the sales report for the regular meetings.
Internal communication with the sales managers of EDAG PS Group and EDAG.
